Summary: Teenage Robin lives with his father in the snowfields near Melbourne and is plagued with the memories of his mother who left him when he was a baby. Robin's father will not tell him where she has gone or why, and his need to know about his past become an obsession that threatens his sanity. Only Robin's budding romantic relationship with Charlie, a classmate, and his writing, help him to keep some control of his thoughts, especially when he begins to suspect his father of having a hand in his mother's disappearance.
